Czech portal devoted to discussions about political ideas and practical politics – pravybreh.cz – presented Czech translations of texts by Krzysztof Mazur (about the idea of freedom in the era of the first Solidarity 1980-1981) and by Monika Gabriela Bartoszewicz (about the Polish understanding of political freedom and the EU realities). The translations were prepared as part of the project "From Włodkowic and Chelčicki to Havel and John Paul II. Freedom of the Nation and Individual Freedom in Czech and Polish Political Thought and Culture" – a public task co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland as part of the Polish-Czech Forum competition 2017.

Literature and Politics after 1989 is an analysis of literature and politics relations after 1989, published in Polish, and prepared by academics from leading Polish academic centers and research institutions. They discuss political themes in the works of Zbigniew Herbert, Gustaw Herling-Grudziński, Czesław Miłosz, Marek Nowakowski, Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz, Bronisław Wildstein and Rafał Ziemkiewicz, and present their influence on the intellectual life of the Third Polish Republic, as well as controversies which they aroused. The authors of the volume consider how the analyzed works describe Polish reality, and how they have changed this reality. It is an interdisciplinary lesson on our contemporary literature, and also a voice in the discussion about contemporary Poland.

Source texts, studies and interviews discussing one of the most important military battles of the 20th century, in which Poland stopped the expansion of communist Russia to the West, will be available at www.sierpien1920.pl.
